A letter from our advisor Dr. Krystian
Dear Friends,
Today is 171st anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin Birthday. It is a really important day and would like to pay the tribute to the composer I had devoted most of my professional career and musical life.
As you know I have a honor to serve as an artistic director of Connecticut Chopin Foundation. I have been a founder of Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, which will happen in person (not online) March 2021.
I have been also an artistic director of International Festival "Lato z Chopinem" [Chopin Summer] named after Barbara Hesse-Bukowska which after a year hiatus will take place again in July 2021.
Finally I am working to launch the new event- Connecticut Chopin Piano Academy which is planned to happen in June 2021(if the situation will allow). All students should have an opportunity to perform with professional orchestra.
I have also devoted my academic career for the exploration of interpretational problems of his music. The focal point of this research is my dissertation taking about the correlation of Polish National Dances to the the performance practice of Chopin musical pearls as are his Mazurkas.
I would like to share with you my recent performance from August 2020 from The Concert Hall of Paderewski Music School in Tarnow. Here is Chopin Ballade in g-minor, op. 23.
The last but not least, I would like to remind you there are applications in progress for V Future Stars International Piano Competition - there are multiple awards including the participation in Chopinesque events organized by myself.
Here there is my personal invitation and website:
